Rooming-In and Breastfeeding Act of 1992, Republic Act No. 7600 (Philippines)
The Act provides the rules with respect to the rooming-in and breastfeeding of newborn infants based on the type of delivery such as normal spontaneous deliveries, deliveries by caesarian and deliveries outside of health institutions.
The Act expressly states the right of the mother to breastfeed her infant, as well as the right of her infant to her breastmilk.
