Philippine Identification System Act, Republic Act No. 11055
The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) is the Philippine government's central identification platform for all citizens and resident aliens in the Philippines, and shall be considered as an official and sufficient proof of identity.
The PhilSys shall collect and store the information as enumerated in the Act in the Registry, and shall be honored and accepted in all transactions requiring proof or verification of a citizens or resident aliens' identity which may be subject to authentication.
