Philippine Competition Act, Republic Act No. 10667
The Philippine Competition Act (Act) established the Philippine Competition Commission which exercises original and primary jurisdiction over the enforcement and implementation of the Act and may conduct investigations, issue divesture orders or subpoenas for this purpose. The Act further defined and penalized anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominant position and anti-competitive mergers, when these manifestly show that they were done for the purpose of restricting or lessening competition in the market.
