Nauru Energy Road Map 2018 to 2020, 2018

The National Energy Road Map (NERM) of Nauru was formulated on the basis of the energy sector development agenda enunciated in the National Sustainable Development Strategy and National Energy Policy Framework. It is meant to enable the achievement of Nauru's overall vision of "a future where individual, community, business and government partnerships contribute to a sustainable quality of life for all Nauruans." The NERM identifies six action plans, namely, capacity, power, renewables, efficiency, fuels and transport. Each action plans has a range of strategies with corresponding activities, as well as lead agencies and time frame. Monitoring indicators are also set out to assist with progress assessments and reporting.
