National Strategic Plan on Climate Change, 2008 to 2012 (Thailand)

The National Strategic Plan on Climate Change of Thailand presents strategies on climate change mitigation. The key measures include reducing greenhouse gas emissions based on sustainable development by means of Clean Development Mechanism implementation. Priority is given for this measure to the energy sector, waste utilization, agricultural activities and industries. Other measures involve increasing forest area by afforestation, and increasing activities to promote clean and low-carbon technology.
