National Strategic Plan 2015-2017 (Marshall Islands)

The National Strategic Plan (NSP) of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) was formulated as a framework to coordinate and align the medium-term development goals and objectives of the government at the national level. The NSP is intended as a roadmap for government leaders in steering the country's development. With continuous updating, it may also be useful in meeting longer-term objectives. The initial timeframe for the NSP is three years from FY15 to FY17. It covers five sectors with each sector broken down into several related strategic areas. The strategic areas are intended to coordinate with national policies and strategic plans as presented in a sector diagram. These strategic areas consist of social development, environment, climate change and resiliency, infrastructure development, sustainable and economic development, and good governance.
