National Medium Term Development Plan 2015-2019 (Indonesia)

The Medium-Term National Development Plan is the third phase implementing the 2005-2025 National Long-Term Development Plan. It serves as the basis for government ministries and agencies to formulate their respective Strategic Plans. Its mission is for national security to maintain territorial sovereignty, support a self-reliant economy by securing maritime resources, a developed, equitable and democratic society based on law, an independent and active foreign policy and strong identity as a maritime country, a better quality of life, progress and prosperity, competitiveness as a nation, pursuit of a strong and independent maritime country, and community based on national personality and culture. It outlines a nine-point development agenda. It further outlines a development strategy on the three dimensions of development, namely, human development, primary sector development and equalization. It identifies certain necessary conditions for this purpose including security and law enforcement, security and order, politics and democracy, and governance and reform.
