Myanmar Climate Change Master Plan 2018-2030
The Myanmar Climate Change Master Plan (2018-2030) intends to mainstream the prioritized sectoral actions identified in the Myanmar Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan. Specifically, the Master Plan focuses on:
- Agriculture, fisheries and livestock
- Environment and natural resources
- Energy, transport and industry
- Cities, towns and human settlements
- Climate hazards and health
- Education, science and technology
The Master Plan’s structure covers:
- An overall outcome and expected results for the sector showing key tangible achievements to be attained
- Strategic indicators referring to the type of processes, law, policies and activities that must be set up to monitor change
- Objectives for the six areas of action (policy, institutions, finance, capacity and technology, awareness, and partnerships)
- Activities for these objectives as agreed by stakeholders during consultations
- Outputs for the activities
- Quantitative and qualitative indicators for each action
- Timeframes and responsibilities
- Actors and reporting
