Law on International Commercial Arbitration (Uzbekistan) (English Translation Available)
The Law on International Commercial Arbitration governs the resolution of contractual and noncontractual international commercial disputes through arbitration. The Law sets out the rules, forms, and procedures for concluding arbitration clauses and arbitration agreements. It enumerates the instances in which a dispute arising from all relationships of a commercial nature, both contractual and non-contractual, is considered to be international arbitration. An arbitration agreement may be made in writing, and this rule may be satisfied if the agreement is made electronically, provided that the information contained in the electronic correspondence is available for subsequent use. The Rules govern the composition, jurisdiction, and powers of the arbitral tribunal and the procedure and conduct of the arbitration.
