Kindergarten Education Act, Republic Act No. 10157 (Philippines)
The Act mandated that kindergarten education shall be made mandatory and compulsory for entrance to Grade 1. The Department of Education is the implementing agency which has the authority to regulate the organization, operation and/or implementation of the kindergarten education program of both public and private schools.
