Juveniles Act, Act No. 168 of 1948 (Japan)
The Act requires that juveniles, as described under the law, shall be subjected to a hearing decision under the jurisdiction of a family court. It provides the procedural rules for the commencement of an action in court through a notification, the investigation to be conducted by police officials, the filing of objections, special appeal, conduct of hearing and applicable penalties for juveniles, among others.
