Implementing Rules and Regulations of the Food Security Act of 2013, Joint Administrative Order No. 2015-0007 (Philippines)
The Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) provide the general principles for the development of food safety standards and regulations, including the use of science-based risk analysis. They provide for the protection of consumer interests against fraudulent and misleading practices, as well as misrepresentation in labeling and false advertising with respect to food. The IRR define the roles and responsibilities of the relevant government agencies and food business operators regarding food safety and regulation.
