Guidelines on Self-Regulation of the Floriculture Industry for the Sustainable Management of Philippine Wild Flora, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order No. 2008-08

The Philippine Wild Flora Council was established for the effective implementation of the floriculture industry's self-regulation which is a scheme whereby such industry, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, oversees the activities regarding the propagation and trade of endemic/indigenous wild flora and Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)-listed plants. Those who intend to engage in the propagation and trade of endemic/indigenous plants and CITES listed plants are required to secure a Certificate of Accreditation and comply with the responsibilities attaching to a holder of a Certificate of Accreditation.
