Guidelines for the Philippine Energy Labeling Program, Department of Energy Department Circular No. DC 2020-06-0015

Importers, manufacturers, distributors, dealers and retailers of energy-consuming products (ECPs), which shall initially refer to room air conditioners, refrigeration units, television sets and lighting products, shall be responsible for, among others, ensuring that their products comply with the Philippine Energy Labeling Program requirements and guidelines, submit the reportorial requirements, pay the application fees, and have the labels printed on the ECPs or its packaging. 

The Act further enumerates the prohibited acts which include the failure to comply with energy labels, and removing, defacing or altering any energy label.
