Guidelines for the Implementation of the Sustainable Coral Reef Ecosystems Management Program, Department of Environment and Natural Resources Administrative Order No. 2013-012 (Philippines)

The Sustainable Coral Reef Ecosystems Management Program is a national program by the Department of Environment and Natural Resources which will conduct a strategic, sustainable and eco-system based approach in the protection and rehabilitation of coral reef ecosystems within the Philippines. The program shall have the following components: 

1. Habitat and vulnerability assessments
2. Coral reef rehabilitation and protection
3. Social mobilization and development
4. Establishment, strengthening and networking of Marine Protected Areas
5. Sustainable livelihood interventions
