Guidelines in the Establishment of a Violence Against Women (VAW) Desk in Every Barangay, Joint Memorandum Circular No. 2010-2 (Philippines)
The Violence Against Women (VAW) desk is a facility to be set up in every barangay where a VAW desk person who is trained in gender-sensitive handling of cases shall be assigned. The Memorandum Circular enumerates the functions of the VAW desk which includes legal assistance to victims of the Violence Against Women Act and their Children Act of 2004, and the development of the barangay's gender-responsive plan.
