Furnishing of the Anti-Money Laundering Council Resolution No. 227 dated 04 April 2003, and Letter-Request of the United States Government on Assets of the Iraqi Government, SEC Memorandum Circular No. 7, Series of 2003 (Philippines)

The Anti-Money Laundering Council Resolution No. 227 furnished supervising authorities, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Insurance Commission a letter-request from the United States Government to work towards bringing the Iraqi resources, as well as any ill-gotten wealth of Saddam Hussein and his regime to the people of Iraq for the reconstruction of their country. The SEC furnished a copy of Resolution No. 227 and the United States Government's letter-request to all corporations with secondary licenses for information, guidance and appropriate action.
