Employment of Children Act, 1991 (Pakistan)
The Act generally prohibits employment of children in occupations set forth in Part 1 of the Schedule, or in any workshop where any of the processes set forth in Part II of the Schedule is carried out. In case such occupation or process do not fall within the foregoing prohibitions, the Act provides for regulations on the work of the children, including hours and period of work, and required health and safety conditions, among others.
