The Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, Republic Act No. 11032 (Philippines)

The Act reduces red tape which is defined as any procedure, or rule that is ineffective or detrimental in achieving its intended objectives which results in slow outcomes in the government's services. It requires all government agencies to create a Citizen's Charter which should contain comprehensive information of the requirements with respect to transactions with the government. The required processing time must also be included in the Citizen's Charter and shall be followed by the government offices. It further mandates local government units to adopt a streamlined process, including an electronic system, for a more efficient business registration process.
