Early Childhood Care and Education Act 2017 (Kiribati)

Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) service providers are required to apply to the Director of a Ministry responsible for early childhood care and education for approval to provide and operate ECCE services to a child. 

Likewise, pre-school service providers must also apply to the Director for approval to provide and operate pre-school services to a child. It provides for the procedure and rules with respect to the application for approval, suspension, variation and revocation of an approval by the Director, and reviews and appeals.
