Disaster Management Order, 2006 (Brunei Darussalam)
For purposes of effective disaster management, the Act established and defined the regulatory bodies of the National Disaster Council and the National Disaster Management Center.
A National Disaster Management Plan shall be formulated by the National Disaster Council which serves as the strategic policy framework for disaster management for Brunei Darussalam. A Public Response Plan shall also be prepared by the Director of the Council which consists of the procedures to be followed by the public when a disaster situation is declared.
