Decree-Law No. 07/2006, Code of Business Registration (Timor-Leste)
The Decree-Law established the matters and facts relating to sole ownership operators, trading companies and non-trading companies of a business nature, sole ownerships of limited liability, cooperatives, public companies, and company subsidiary groups which are required to be registered. It also provides for rules on the effects, expiration and cancellation of registration. It lays down the process to register a business and challenge a decision made by a Registrar.
