Currency Declaration Act 2015-16 (Cook Islands)
The Act requires that a person shall make a truthful currency declaration in the prescribed form each time the person enters and leaves the Cook Islands with currency, and each time the person sends or receives currency into the Cook Islands.
Authorized officers under the Act are vested with powers to question, search, seize currency and detain seized currency, among others, in order to ensure the effective implementation of the provisions of the Act.
