Contractor's License Law, as Amended, Republic Act No. 11711 (Philippines)
The salient amendments include:
- The expansion of prohibited acts
- Imposed harsher penalties for the prohibited acts enumerated
- Increase in the amount of fees for application and renewal of the licenses of contractors
For contractors who have been operating in good standing for 25 years or more, it may renew its license every three years. Contractors who have been operating in good standing for 10 years or more, may renew their license every two years. Otherwise, contractors shall renew their license yearly.
