Constitution Amendment Act 2019 (Samoa)
The Constitution Amendment Act 2019 substitutes Article 19(2) of the Constitution with a provision that "[s]ubject to the provisions of this Constitution, a person who holds, or who has held for one term, office as Head of State, is only eligible for re-appointment to that Office once." Moreover, "[a] person who has held the office as Head of State for two terms is not eligible to be re-appointed to that Office."
