Competition Enforcement Office of the Philippine Competition Commission vs. Urban Deca Homes Manila Condominium Corporation and 8990 Holdings, Inc.

The Philippine Competition Commission stated that Urban Deca Homes (UDH) Manila Condo Corp. abused its dominant position in the provision of property management services by preventing internet service providers other than Fiber to Deca Homes (FTDH) from providing fixed-line internet services to the residents of UDH Manila. As such, the tenants and residents of UDH Manila have been prejudiced as they were deprived of their choices or alternatives to FTDH's fixed-line internet services, which have been the subject of complaints regarding its quality and prices.
