Competition and Regulatory Authority Act 2019 (Cook Islands)

The Competition and Regulatory Authority (Authority) has the function of investigating conducts that infringe an enactment over which it has enforcement responsibility, promote understanding of the value of competition and the role of regulations, and advise the Minister on matters of competition and regulation, among others. 

The Act sets out the specific functions, powers and duties of the Authority, as well as the procedure and rules with respect to complaints and investigations over which it has authority over. It also provides for the procedures in reviews and appeals over actions taken by the Authority.
