Communications Act 2013 (Kiribati)

The Act established the Communications Commission of Kiribati, which shall be the regulator of the communications sector, and sets out the procedure for the review of decisions rendered by the Commission. It also sets out the rules on interconnection and sharing of facilities between licensees, the prohibition of licensees to engage in conduct that reduces competition in the communications market, consumer protection and price regulation, technical standards for interconnection, management and allocation of radiocommunications, as well as the Government's commitment to introduce a universal service regime for communications in Kiribati.
