Climate Change Trust Act (Bangladesh)

This Act establishes the Climate Change Trust (Trust) to redress the adverse impact of climate change on Bangladesh. The Trust aims to make the necessary capacity building action plan for the  adjustment of the people affected and at risk from climate change, upgrading their lives and livelihoods to face the long-term risk, take measures for adaptation, mitigation, technology development and transfer, capacity building and funds for facing adverse effect of climate change on man, biodiversity and the nature. It also establishes the Climate Change Trust Fund which shall be used in facing the risk arising from climate change.
