Climate Change Financing Framework (Cambodia)

The Climate Change Financing Framework places the discussion in context with the rationale for climate change action, based on the socio-economic impacts of climate change. It then examines the current profile of climate change expenditure, and identifies current and potential sources of climate finance over the coming five to 10 years. A costing of Cambodia's climate change response is proposed based on these. The Framework further analyzes how climate-smart investments can help reduce socio-economic impacts of climate change. It also provides guidance on next steps to improve the mobilization and management of climate finance from domestic and international sources. Finally, it provides guidance on the establishment of a transparent, reliable and attractive climate change financing framework.
