Child Safety in Motor Vehicles Act, Republic Act No. 11229 (Philippines)

The Act makes it unlawful for drivers of private and public vehicles, as may be determined by the Department of Transportation, not to properly secure a child aged 12 years and below in a child restraint system while the engine is running or transporting such child on any road, street or highway, unless the child is at least 150 centimeters or 59 inches in height and properly secured using the regular seat belt. 

It shall also be unlawful for a child aged 12 years and below from sitting in the front seat of a motor vehicle with a running engine or while such child is being transported on any road, street or highway, unless the child is at least 150 centimeters or 59 inches in height and properly secured using the regular seat belt.
