Charitable Trusts Act (Tonga)
The trustees of any trust and societies which exist exclusively or principally for charitable purposes, whether it relates to relief of poverty, the advancement of education or religion or any matter beneficial to the community, may apply to the Registrar of Charitable Trusts for their incorporation as a Board under the Act.
The Act defines the evidence and effect of incorporation, as well as the vesting of property, required forms of contract, powers of the Board, winding up and dissolution, among others.
