Cambodia Basic Energy Plan, 2019

The Cambodia Basic Energy Plan aims to contribute on two points: 

1. Saving conventional energy consumption, such as oil and electricity
2. Utilizing domestic energy, such as hydropower and biomass

The basic principle of the plan aims for an energy supply for Cambodia satisfying the conditions of Affordability, Accessibility, Security (sustainable security), Safety, and Transparency of the market. 

The plan covers six energy fields, namely:

1. Oil
2. Electricity supply
3. Renewable energy
4. Energy efficiency
5. Energy security
6. Energy outlook

The plan discusses the current situation and issues in each energy field. It proceeds to outline the necessary action plans and policies and recommendations in view of such issues.
