Anti-Mail Order Spouse Act, Republic Act No. 10906 (Philippines)

The Act penalizes the engagement in a business or scheme for the purpose of matching or offering a Filipino to foreign nationals for marriage or common-law partnership on a mail-order basis for profit, exhibiting materials to promote the mail-order scheme and using the postal service or any website to promote the mail-order scheme, among others. 

Victims of the Act shall be provided with the following basic services: 

• Temporary shelter, or housing and food
• Psychological support and counseling, 
• 24-hour call center for crisis calls and 
• Technology-based counseling and referral system, among others
