Amended Rules to Govern the Interruptible Load Program, Energy Regulatory Commission Resolution No. 05, Series of 2015 (Philippines)

The Act enabled distribution utilities to enter into a tripartite Interruptible Load Program (ILP) Agreements with a Retail Electricity Supplier (RES) or local RES and its contestable customers, or those who have a choice of supplier of electricity.

It also enabled the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines to implement the ILP for directly connected customers, Philippine Economic Zone Authority customers or locators and economic utility enterprises, as well as other distribution utilities.

The Act also provided a template for the Interruptible Load Agreement as well as the Interruptible Load Program Protocol.
