Agricultural Value Chain Financing Framework, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Circular No. 908, Series of 2016

Agricultural chain financing is an effective and organized approach to channel financing to the agriculture and fisheries sectors which also promotes financial inclusion. The agricultural value chain financing program consists of the following: 

• The agricultural value chain policy and procedures
• The types of credit products
• Loan disbursement
• A disaster contingency mechanism, as well as other features or activities which may also be allowed

The Circular also enumerates incentives to be extended to financial institutions to encourage them to engage in agricultural value chain financing.
