The Act Relating to Compulsory and Free Education, 2075 (2018) (Nepal)
The Act imposes upon the Government of Nepal, Provincial Government and Local Level to provide every citizen with education up to the basic level. Education shall be made compulsory up to the basic level to every child who has completed four (4) years but has not yet completed 13 years of age, through every Local Level. Further, at least one (1) year of early childhood development and education shall be provided after the completion of the age of four (4) years.
