An Act Made to Provide for the Right to Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health, or the Right to Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Act, Act No. 9 of the year 2018 (2075) (Nepal)

The Right to Safe Motherhood and Reproductive Health Act was passed for the protection of the woman and her right to a safe, affordable, and accessible maternal and reproductive health services. It provides for women's rights to reproductive health, antenatal care service, obstetric care, health care of newborn and the right to seek family planning services. The Act prohibits forced family planning under duress and the forced use of contraceptives.
