Winnie Carruth

Winnie Carruth is the Project Manager of the IUCN Academy of Environmental Law for the In-Country ADB-TTT Program.  She is based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and works closely with the TTT Team Leader, Professor Robert Fowler and the international trainers on the TTT Program.

Winnie received her legal education in the United Kingdom.  She was trained as both a barrister and a solicitor in England.  She is called to the Bar of England and Wales and is a barrister of Middle Temple in London, UK.

Winnie worked in the private sector in Toronto, Canada and Bermuda as well as at the Canadian International Trade Tribunal in Ottawa, Canada before joining the IUCN Academy’s previous Secretariat in Ottawa.
