Sooyeon Kwon
Counsel
Sooyeon Kwon joined ADB in 2024 and is a counsel in the Office of General Counsel focusing on sovereign operations across South Asia and the Pacific. She brings over a decade of international experience spanning climate finance and global health, having previously worked as a project lawyer at the Green Climate Fund and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
Sooyeon holds a BA in political science from Sciences Po Paris and is a graduate from Sciences Po Paris Law School. She also holds an LLM from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was a Public Law Scholarship recipient.
