Pheak Sok

Sok Pheak is currently working as Deputy Director of Center for Agricultural and Environmental Studies (CAES) of the Royal University of Agriculture. He graduated in MSC in Natural Resource Management from Royal University of Agriculture, and he also obtained a Bachelor Degree of Education from the Cambodian Mekong University, Cambodia. He attended international training short courses related to the environment, including Wetland Ecology and Management in the Mekong Basin, biodiversity management, and climate change from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, Spain, and Germany, together with national training on climate change and related fields such as the management of natural resource, forestry, sustainable land management, and other skills related to GIS, computer software, and statistic.

He has over 6 years of working experience related to climate change adaptation, mitigation, vulnerability and adaptation assessment, and climate modeling. He had experience working with national, sub-national, community, and international development partners, including MoE, CCCA, MAFF, FA, MRC, MoEYS, UNDP, IFAD, USAID, EU Erasmus+ CBHE, WOCAT, ADB, International Crane Foundation (ICF), Wetland University Network, World Bank, UNEP, and SUMERNET. He published a few scientific books and research reports in related fields.
