Patricia Rhee

Patricia Rhee led an ADB TA in Myanmar to support the reform of commercial and financial laws to improve the legal and regulatory environment for commerce and investment. She led teams of experts in the development of a modernized insolvency law, commercial law training to judges in the adjudication of commercial disputes and enforcement of commercial contracts, and a report recommending reforms to Myanmar’s commercial and financial law framework. Patricia has more than 18 years of legal experience as an international finance lawyer in Australia, United Kingdom, and Asia and has advised on ADB’s sovereign investment projects in the Southeast Asia, East Asia and Central and West Asia regions. Prior to joining ADB, Patricia was Vice President in the European Leveraged Finance legal team at Barclays Capital, London and also worked at Ashurst London and Allens Linklaters specializing in leveraged finance, M&A and debt capital markets.
