Mr. Nawa Raj Dhakal is the Executive Director of Alternative Energy Promotion Centre (AEPC), Government of Nepal’s focal agency on renewable energy and energy efficiency, under the purview of Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation (MoEWRI). He has over two decades of experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency and climate finance across the dimensions of policy and strategy formulation, resource mobilization, program planning, implementation, organization development and capacity enhancement. He has successfully led AEPC’s accreditation as the Direct Access Entity to Green Climate Fund and approval of projects on Clean Cooking Solutions and GCF Readiness and Preparatory Support.
