Miro Frances brings a decade of experience in research, technical writing and editing, data analytics, and project and people management. Before joining LPR, she was a Research Analyst with ADB’s Economic Research and Development Impact Department (ERDI), contributing to various flagship publications. Before joining ADB, she served as Head of Data Reporting and Analytics at the International Committee of the Red Cross in Switzerland from 2021 to 2022, and Data and Analytics Manager from 2019 to 2021.
She also worked as a News Correspondent (economics and business) for CNN Philippines and held research, data analysis, and writing positions at the World Bank, UNICEF, and the Philippine Institute for Development Studies. A published essayist, she has won three 1st Prize Palanca Awards for Literature and was a judge at the 2023 Palanca Awards for Essay in English. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, cum laude from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2013, where she is also completing her Masters in Statistics.
