Aparajita Singh

Aprajita Singh is an Assistant professor of Law in the School of Law University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun. she comes with teaching experience of more than six years as an Assistant professor. she has attained great enthusiasm to explore the area of environmental law over the years with her teaching and research interest. she has presented various research papers in the area of environmental Law been part of the panel discussion, and published research papers in furtherance of her academic skill. She is also a contributor to the Policy and Politics page of the "The Daily Guardian" newspaper where she has shared her opinion on issues like virtual education and Rule of Law. She also writes her opinion in form of blogs on LinkedIn. She has done Coursera courses like "Introduction to Environment Law and Policy" authorized by The University of North Carolina of Chapel Hills. In order to further her understanding of justice, she has done the EDX course of "Justice" offered by Harvard University. She has also acted in the capacity of Program Vice-Chair in organizing training for Senior forest officers which was hosted by UPES and funded by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. concerning the role of Judiciary and National Green tribunal. She is also working on developing new subjects in the area of environmental law specialization with the demands of the 21st century
