Video: COP29: Solving the Forest Finance Puzzle in the Paris Agreement Era
Held on 14 November 2024 at the Forest Pavilion during COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, this high-level side event convened global leaders and experts to address the urgent need to scale up forest finance. Co-organized by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the National Forestry and Grassland Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and the International Sustainable Forestry Coalition (ISFC), the session explored innovative financial instruments, enabling legal and policy environments, and multi-stakeholder partnerships essential to mobilizing public and private investment in forests.
