The event continued the dialogue on regional environmental issues and discussed topics such as environmental justice, the Sustainable Development Goals, the emerging concept of climate justice, urbanization and industrialization, biodiversity, and community initiatives on environmental protection. The participants adopted the Kathmandu Resolution 2015 for Judicial Cooperation in Ensuring Sustainable Development, Climate Change Resiliency, and Protection of Environment in South Asia, identifying measures for information sharing, capacity building, regional collaboration, and the promotion of environmental and climate justice.
