Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act 1890

This Act establishes provisions for the prevention of cruelty to animals. The Act consists of 17 sections. Sections 3 to 7 prohibit the beating and killing of animals, employing animals to work against their physical conditions, etc., and provide for measures, such as penalties or fines, to be taken against offences.
