ADB launches Technical Assistance on International Trade and Investment Agreements in Uzbekistan

ADB Law and Policy Reform Program (LPR) and the ADB Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department (ERCD) conducted stakeholder consultations and policy dialogue on international trade and investment agreements.

Enrico Pinali and Begzod Djalilov, from the ADB Uzbekistan Resident Mission, Christina Pak, ADB LPR, Team Leader and Principal Counsel, and Pramila Crivelli and Rolando Avendano from ADB ERCD presented and discussed how countries can balance their sustainable development commitments and economic development. 

ERCD showcased ADB’s research on regional trade agreements and international investment agreements at the Tashkent State University of Economics which convened the key business and academia stakeholders.
