ADB, Kyrgyz Republic, CAREC Institute develop and complete online training on e-commerce

ADB Office of the General Counsel, through its Law and Policy Reform Program, and the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, in collaboration with Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Institute, have developed and completed an online training course on e-commerce designed with a view to inform and provide tools to government officials, entrepreneurs, and businesses to enable them to connect to the global community. The online course introduces the concept of creating a conducive environment for e-commerce, provides a regional context and cites the trends that drive its growth. It consists of 5 modules covering the overview of e-commerce digital technology and security, digital technologies in enhancing business activity, entrepreneurial case studies, technologies, strategies and future challenges. The course continues to be accessible at https://elearning.carecinstitute.org/e-commerce with subtitles available in the English, Russian and Kyrgyz languages.
